Joseph's Bedroom

Only 15 months into it, we finally have a "nursery". As most of you know, Joseph spent the first year plus of his life in bed with us. About two months ago we started working on getting him into his crib. He's been a pretty good sport about it, all around. When he got his molars we had some set backs, but we're back to it. We try to keep him in there (without picking him up/nursing) from 11pm to 6am. He still wakes frequently at night but will go back to sleep pretty easily until 5am. We're still trying to figure out that last hour.

Anyway, here are pictures of his room. I still have some more decorating to do, but it's well on its way to being done!

I LOVE how you did the alphabet cards. The clips and twine look fantastic.

I LOVE those alphabet cards. Did you make them?

I like the alphabet cards too!

The Good Baby has slept with us all her life too - she will be a year on Friday. I am thinking about transiting her too so I have been wondering how it was going for you. Some days I am so torn on if we should move her to her own room or not and I second guess myself.

But I am encouraged that Joseph seems to be doing well with the transition.

This is SO cute, Jen. I just love the way you hung the alphabet cards. So organic looking :)

So cute!! I (along with all the other comments) love the alphabet cards :)
Also, where did you find such cute bedding? And is that a top sheet and pillow case? I have been having a hard time finding anything I like that has sheets and pillowcases for the crib sized mattress.

The bedding is IKEA! It's a duvet cover - they sell the pillow, cover, sheets, and duvet all in the children's dept. :)
